Speaker Biographies

Stanton Friedman:

Stanton T. Friedman received BSc and MSc degrees in physics from the University of Chicago in 1955 and 1956. He was employed for 14 years as a nuclear physicist for such companies as GE, GM, Westinghouse, TRW Systems, Aerojet General Nucleonics, and McDonnell-Douglas on such advanced, classified, eventually cancelled, projects as nuclear aircraft, fission and fusion rockets, and nuclear power-plants for space. Since 1967 he has lectured on the topic “Flying Saucers ARE  Real!” at more than 600 colleges and over 100 professional groups in 50 states, 9 provinces, 16 other countries. He has published more than 80 UFO papers and appeared on hundreds of radio and TV programs. He is the original civilian investigator of the Roswell Incident and co-authored “Crash at Corona: The Definitive Study of the Roswell Incident”. TOP SECRET/MAJIC  his explosive book about the Majestic 12 group established in 1947 to deal with crashed saucers, was published in 1996 and went through 6 printings. A second updated edition was published in  September ,2005, and deals in detail with the false objections to the MJ-12 documents.

Stan was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award in Leeds, England, in September, 2002, by UFO Magazine of the UK. A documentary “Stanton T. Friedman IS Real” was broadcast in Canada in 2002. He was featured in “Do You Believe in MAJIC?” a 2004 Canadian TV documentary. He has provided written testimony to Congressional Hearings, appeared twice at the UN, and been a pioneer in many aspects of  Ufology including Roswell, Majestic 12, the Betty Hill-Marjorie Fish star map work; analysis of the Delphos,. Kansas, physical trace case; crashed saucers, flying saucer technology and challenges to the S.E.T.I. (Silly Effort to Investigate) cultists. He has spoken at more annual Symposia of the Mutual UFO Network than has anybody else. His 2005 paper was “Government UFO Lies”.

Stan takes a clear-cut unambiguous stand that SOME UFOs are alien spacecraft; that the subject of flying saucers represents a Cosmic Watergate; that none of the anti-UFO arguments made by a variety of noisy negativists stand up to careful scrutiny, and that we are dealing with the biggest story of the past millennium: visits to Planet Earth by alien spacecraft and the successful cover-up by governments of the best data: alien wreckage and bodies recovered in New Mexico, for 59 years. He has spent many weeks at a total of 20 document archives. Stan has successfully taken on many critics of flying saucers, Roswell, Majestic 12, including winning a debate at Oxford University and one on Coast to Coast Radio with Dr. Seth Shostak of the SETI Institute. http://www.stantonfriedman.com

Margie Kay:
"Ghosts hunting, UFO's"

Her parents noted Margie Kay’s psychic abilities at a very early age.  At the age of 15, she shocked her science teacher with very accurate psychic test results.  By that time, she could communicate with the spirits of people who had passed on, and was able to help people talk with their loved ones.  Kay had her first UFO experience at the age of 12 months and remembers the incident.  Margie has assisted law enforcement agencies and private detectives since the age of 16, and has been instrumental in locating 28 missing persons, homicide victims and perpetrators.  Kay is clairvoyant (sees), clairsentient (feels), and clairaudient (hears).  She does remote viewing, dowsing, and meditative trance work, as well as intuitive medical diagnosis with the ability to see inside the human body.  She no longer does private readings but will help law enforcement at no charge.

Margie put together a team of psychics to do paranormal investigations and find missing persons. With their combined talents, the team is usually successful in finding out the origin of hauntings or paranormal activity.  In most haunting cases Margie can convince the spirits to move on and activity in the location will cease.  Kay holds a BA in Business and an MA in Writing.  She is CEO of a corporation that has two retail stores and two service companies in Independence, Missouri.  Margie is the host of QUEST radio show on KCXL 1140 AM (currently on hiatus but scheduled to return in March).  Kay is the author of Haunted Independence, Haunted Kansas City, several technical and instructional books and power point presentations, is a national speaker, and is currently in the process of researching and writing the book UFO’s and the Psychic Connection.  Contact Margie at MargieKay06@yahoo.com

Jason Offutt:

Jason Offutt is an author, a journalism instructor at Northwest Missouri State University, a syndicated humor and paranormal columnist, and not a snappy dresser at all. In Jason’s career he has been a newspaper editor, general assignment reporter, photographer, newspaper consultant, bartender, farm hand, and the mayor of a small Midwestern town. Jason’s published work includes his book of Missouri ghost stories, “Haunted Missouri: A Ghostly Guide to Missouri's Most Spirited Spots,” and the humor books “On Being Dad” and “A Small Town.” He’s married to Kimberly Offutt and they live in Maryville, Mo. Jason has four children – Tawney, 17, Hayden, 10, two-year-old Sam and baby Sabrina. In his spare time, Jason hunts ghosts, complains there’s nothing on TV, and he likes beer – a lot. You can reach Jason through his Web site at www.jasonoffutt.com, his blog at from-the-shadows.blogspot.com, e-mail him at jasonoffutt@hotmail.com, or mention something to anyone from his hometown of Orrick, Mo. They know his Ma.

Vince White
"HIDDEN MARS HIDDEN NASA"

My only time as a UFO skeptic lasted a mere three weeks while in high school until I read Major Keyhoe book “Flying Saucers are Real” and it was utterly obvious that these objects were solid physical craft traversing our skies. This began a fervent truth hunt, still hot, of reading every extant UFO book a severe library habit leads to.
Then while studying Physics and math at the University Mo at KC. that bearded Physicist Pied Piper of Ufology, Stan Friedman, stoked my UFO Fires and curiosity even hotter with his “Flying Saucers are Real” lecture, which widened and deepened my research. I joined APRO and conducted a copious correspondence with many researchers. A page long commentary was published in the APRO Bulletin in 1970. I met Walt Andrus in KC in the early days of Skylook. In 76 – 80 I had the distinct privilege of meeting many who made substantial historic contributions to Ufology such as the late Leonard Stringfield. Making a living increasingly limited time for UFOs as more and more time & energy was spent programming software for banks and credit unions. I did a book review for the MUFON journal of one of Jacques Vallee’s latest. Over the years with limited time, I still managed to accumulate and read 250 plus UFO books and attend two dozen UFO conferences.
Wrote a book length manuscript on UFOs never submitted. Appeared once on Mike Murphy's radio program discussing MUFON. Still UFOs were a part time passion as I worked a programmer for a defense contractor for the USMC. for 6 years, when a mixed blessing took place. Forced to retire with full disability due to an early struggle with Parkinson’s I suddenly had a lot of time to research my passion- UFOs- but was severely restricted in mobility, unable to walk, barely type. Adjustment of medication has enabled some return of functions. Currently the UFO passion has outweighed illness. Current projects are a highly detailed analysis of the hidden scientific and engineering aspects of the hidden harvest from crash retrievals, and the gravity controlled craft we have flying out of several aerospace test centers.
Vince has a B.S. in Physics from UMKC and took a number of graduate level physics classes, as undergraduate, such as thermodynamics, statistical mechanics , quantum mechanics, and mathematical physics.
